Itemtype.dat

Scatter is a magic attack, it can only work with direct weapon attacks. By now I have seen it work with clubs, never tried anything else.

I put the file in the ini folder of CO2 and when I play the game, I can't see the item. If I put my mouse over where the item is in my invitory it just displays a +1, no name or anything. I also can't see my equipment or any other peoples equipment.

MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!! thanks to you, i sat on a super bow and said to my plvl "Its just 1 item, what are the chances?" so he let me! MWAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I still can't get the dang thing to work.. It's either making the items not show, or just plan not doing anything.

another point of view for the noob in all of us

this file ONLY changes what YOU see, not any one else. You cannnot change any stats and see real effect in the game. it is just like your mirror. you see yourself in reverse of what others see you but until they look over your shoulder they will never see you as you see yourself in the mirror (small mirror) So unless they are on YOUR computer they will not see how you change your itemtype.dat file.

Oh and you could get the -.- look if you just happen to mention it to a team mate who dont have it or the :O i want that file! hapened to me once, on both accounts.

This is also true with the monster.dat file in my siggie it changes how you see the monster, nothing more. the rest of the info is on the server or other person's comp. :bandit: :D cheers!

I know.. When I drop my +1 hat to see if it works. It only displays the hat name, not the +1 beside it.

then he was an idiot because you can tell if a bow is super/elite just by looking at it.

I've tried that... Why do you think im posting here.

Hmm..When I put itemtype201 in ini folder it doesn't do anything..so then i tried to delete the old one and put the new one. After that when I tried to open Conquer it showed 1st auto patch picture then something that said "Don't send error report" or "Send error report" popped up.. what's all this about ?

Nevermind, I found out what I was doing wrong ^^

but dont work it! i'm doing a sword: damage 100-150 and still damage 20!!! dont wrk on game why?
