Well AFAIK he wasn't the only owner of apex. Well I don't think anything has happened to him as of now and nothing probably ever will because it's not illegal to spend money people have invested in you on something else, unless you strictly have made agreements on that all the money goes towards it. Heck if he ran the whole thing as a legitimate non-profit organization it would have been a lot easier for him to be jailed since he can't just take the money and run away. in this case AFAIK the investments were done privately to his project, thus there's not really any legal ties as for how he can spend the money.

he will get away with it but not for the reasons you have claimed at all. those would make him look more than guilty to any judge

Suckers, he's not the stupid one the people that fell for this bullshit are unfortunately

He didn't invent this idea

Never got involved with him personally but did not expect him to have scammed people like that.

I did notice that his account got banned here but figured he got tired of Conquer.

That's so bs. You should stop spreading misinformation like that, if you obvisouly have no idea about legal matters. Do you think that kid is the first dude who did ran away with other peoples money from an online project?
He CAN be sued for misappropriating funds. He probably even WILL be sued for that. Question is: will he be around to get his punishment?

I worked with P4N for a few years before this occurred; it's not in his personality type to have done this. I spoke with him very briefly before his disappearing act and had the chance to ask him if what I think happened was indeed the true story and it appears the facts are way more boring than the story. I'm simply going to state that this post is indeed in defense of p4n; and what most assumed happened here did not. However it is without a doubt a great tragedy to our community - and P4N was a cornerstone of that community.

he was a nice guy when i had change to talk with him, dunno what went wrong, but this sound really strange, maybe he wasn't the one involved, and got hit by it cause he was in the wrong place at the wrong time

And for the bitcoin issue, i doubt it is illegal, since most countries doesn't even recognize it as a currency, not even as something with a value

Contact him, he's still active on several forums in game development due to his passion for coding, he also runs multiple high expensive clothing stores and right after he got that BTC they made an growth from $1000 /BTC up to $18,000 /BTC.
Like thousands of people on Bitcointalk already know, Pro4Never is still very alive and he is a multi millionair.
People tryed to re-launch his jewels project and begged him to join but he refused, therefore several investors later on decided to sue the shit out of him but nobody won so far.
Chris just sold his Jewels when he had the chance, he didnt realy run with everyones money he just sold his Jewels and never implemented Jewels properly in-games therefore lot's of people started cashing out because he holded a majority of Jewels and his cashout caused panic sales because he also didnt keep promises like 70% of all ICOs don't do so either, the value of jewels dropped for about 60% and it became just another shitcoin and stayed around 1000 sats each Jewel for a while untill early investors tryed to re-launch "his game" along with the Jewels implementations and help from the Bitcointalk community.

A project is only as strong as its most fragile component. Cryptocurrency was designed to be distributed in this regard, rather than relying on one person. Value is understood and delivered by the collective sum rather than a centralized overseer. Investing in a currency like Jewels which doesn't strictly follow this model is risky. Development was early and dependent on one or two people. When Chris cashed out, others found the currency to be too much of a risk and cashed out as well. Chris might be at fault for project promises and such, but people should not have invested to begin with. That project was too risky.

I agree but to be fair Chris acted as if he was a big scaled game development company who developed their own games with proper teams and Jewels would be the premium currency of ALL games developed by the Pro4Never Network.
He also acted as if Conquer Heroes was their own developed game and his company was already forming a solid team for their next game which he started advertising upfront aswell, would have been a Unity3D one.
I've heard that his whitepaper looked pretty good aswell, haven't checked it out myself though.

I got noways to contact him, I didn't really have much with him just admired his works.
Never knew he runs clothes stores, I only knew (or thought) he was coding on CO because he liked coding.
And of course people sued him, he kinda took everything and dissapeared. I mean we all would be madman if someones took everything from you and gets rich(aka milionaire).
Although it has no point suing him, they themselves took the risk so the blames are (sadly) on themselves, it's always a risk.

I agree with this

Note: Although this is a real crazy action of Pro4Never, I do believe a lot of people would had done the same thing if they could. You know money in whatever way makes people do crazy things.
