Editing DDS Files (How-To)

sorry for spamming, but theres no way to edit a post to have a pic >:o anyway, i copied the whip.club folder from co2 into co1 because i remembered someone posting modified minimaps before and i had to create a folder and the map auto loaded... and guess what? the clubs DID load. with one problem though... it doesnt like the black background :eek: if anyone has some input it would be greatly appreciated, if not im just going to start trying colors until i get one that it screens out

ps- that isnt me in the pic ;) i took a picture of a random person i found in the market

thats stupid... there are billions of colors and the chances of me finding the exact color they used before i turn 90 is slim :bandit: i think this is where the reverse engineering of the client i heard about before comes in

easy dude, i got same problem with clubs... when you edit the clubs and the plugin-pop-up for save the file... use "2D-Texture" not "volume texture" or "cube map"


here red/black clubs, edit the name to use it for your lvl... thats now for 120...

works perfectly, thanks ^^ and now im going to spam a little more here so i can just post links to uploads on proto's neat-and-clean topic :P

here the hercules *fixed* just put in this folder ... *\c3\effect\zf2-e254\

the club file loads fine in game, but im having problems getting the originals to work in game still. can you fix an original and post it? i prefer to work with originals rather than someone elses creation :P

hmm...where can u find the co emoticons? is it a .dds? itd b cool to make em and sav em in jpg for msn :D
