Also mit 60er Classic Char geht es definitiv nicht ?

Mit nem 10er / 27er Char geht es. Ich vermute, der 60er Name ist einfach eine Zeit lang gesperrt.

Also funzt das auch bei classic? Würde gerne meine rog renamen

Dieser Bug / Exploit ist schon seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr funktionisfähig und in einem anderen Forum in dem ich Elite Access habe seit längerer Zeit als Not Working markiert!

This appears to be fixed and the support page for restoring characters has been updated last month. You can no longer restore the character while the name is in use.

I tried with my main account and also the starter account.

So, you do as stated,
delete characte you want to re name,
then on a different blizzard account log in and make a new character with the same name of the character you deleted, wait about 5 - 10 mins after you delete the character to make the new one.
then play that character for a short time to get it active.
then close down battle net client / wow client, wait 10 - 15 mins.
then open it and log into the main account that had the original character you deleted,
go to the section to get back deleted character and restore, if like myself that option is not there put in a ticket to support and they will help you get character back and like stated it has a "!" after the name and you have to rre name it.
