questions zu decrypt and basepointer

Ok I followed your tutorial (thanks again) and I was able to find the HP address, but there are two. I uploaded the file if anyone wants to see. now can anyone point me to how I would be able to read the memory address with autoit. I am not sure how to do it when there are multiple pointers.[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] :)

check your pm ;)

is there already a "beta?" can you pm me tnx.. :D because I already see some people using bots.. hmmm i wonder...

Samsusi - You are the man.

1ranger - Anyone with a small amount of experience using macro scripts can make a simple bot for this game in 20 min. I'm sure there are a bunch of people using thier own little autoit bots. I'm one of them. This is probably what you have ben seeing, just simple macros. Although I could be wrong I havn't really searched for any bot releases. Mine just stands in one spot by where mobs spawn and constantly fights back as they attack me... works a treat, but not very realistic lol. It would be nice to have a bot that followed paths like glider or that runes of magic micromacro bot..those are sweet.

Yeah, it is a simple macro script from everyone I've seen.

They tap -> arrow key once every second, and tap tab after the arrow key..once it locks onto a monster, mages use a skill, and melee users run up and attack it.

I'm a total nab when it comes to autoit and other macro creators..I only used to use ACTools, bleh. I might tinker around with autoit later, just wondering how to get the bot to recognize when it's locked onto a monster in order to attack ;[.

Lol, at least you can use ACtool, it won't even work on my laptop probably cause it's running on Windows 7. I'm using advanced macro recorder(like I did for maple story LOL). It's a little buggy but it works :).

You should really try and mess with AutoIT. I previously had no encounters with AutoIT scripting and just finished my first bot for GF. The only problem I have is the delay after it tries to pick something up..but I can always increase the sleep time.

@bustasnipe here's small tutorial

open GF - Login, choose char
open CE - add Process

search value [4byte] (e.g. current HP - 3940 in my case)
result: 22 address

fight some - loose HP
research for decreased values
result: 2 address

2 cases:

1: its your first pointer / try
pointer search for this address
- reverse
a) from 0 to 00A00000 (if that dont works for you use 00F00000 or higher; I think it depends on the value you found) then u get 1 pointer - finish

b) if u got many pointers..relog to other char (keep list open better safe it)
search again for hp e.g. 640

fight some - loose HP
research for decreased values

insert these new address into "Rescan Memory.." in your previous pointer scan window !
continue until found 1

proof:
logout - try other char
if values are right ...gz

2: you already got 1 pointer
your address: 040BDD3C
if your new search shows some address at least with 040BD[...] at start - you know u have found the right one - pointer scan or calculate offset (read clues)

some clues:
• all right pointer / address i found so far starts with 0; equal each other
• there are only level 2 and level 5 pointer (you can correct me)
• level 2 - first offset is 0x8 - the other offset can be calculated (calculator, your brain, what ever) - used this to get exp value
for example the different between hp current and hp max is 0x44

have fun..

cud u plz elaborate this thing... if i got the pointer what shall i do nxt?! i found it and froze it but still my hp lessens... sori ignorant bout this stuff but im willing to learn anybody?! ^_^

Just freezing an address won't give you a godmode, sorry. You need ASM knowledge and use the Memory View to get godmode.

FYI, for some reason Grand Fantasia no longer crashes when you enable the CE debugger. Meaning no more long pointer scans, you can just use "find out what accesses" now.

i am a COMPLETE noob and cant read c++ at all. i dont even knw about amy of these listed programs for helping so can someone just upload a copleted pkg file (for GF xp gain) or the req. programs so i can help?

i actually found the adresses for this and i changed the value and it did worked that was for the x axis i tried, i kept changing the value and eventually i got DCed, i tried to do it again and i coulnt find it anymore....dont know why.. is there something in GF that saves the memory u tried to hack and prevents u from doing so again?

Guys, try making your own first. I'm sure people will reply to this thread to help you out, including me.

What I first did was google "WoW autoit level bot" and looked at the codes of a few bots to understand how to create my own. Look carefully at how functions work, they're a lifesaver.

You'll want to figure out which kind of bot you want to make. The first bot is mainly used for high HP chars.
What mine does is hit "D" to turn the character, and then "TAB" to lock onto a monster. After it's locked on, it'll go and attack, then use a potion if necessary and repeat. This means the char will eventually run around the entire map killing every kind of monster. This kind of bot is bad for aggro monsters, as you will get ganged up and probably will die pretty quickly if you're not looking at the screen.

The second kind is a lot safer, but a lot slower at leveling. You set your char in the middle of a map, and the bot will have your char sit until an aggro attacks you. It'll detect the monster and attack until the monster is dead, loot, and sit back down until another monster attacks.

After that, you can either do pixel detection or memory read for monster detection and healing. For my first bot I used pixel detection which totally sucked for using potions, because there are very few places you can detect the HP color because of your HP text.

Which led me to working on memory reading. Search on the AutoIT forum about "nomadmemory" and "_MemoryRead" to get some examples. Working with this took me about 4 days to figure out..but once your script successfully reads the values you want, you're in business.
