Und die Chinesen haben wieder mal Updates am Instant Server gemacht einiges wurde bei den Quests gefixt und neue Mobs wurden eingebaut.

Hi to all, I dont understand this tutorial, someone can explain it in english please ?
I access to server files via filezilla, but when made the changes and starts the server.
The quests and missions continue in chinese.

but I preferd to know how to =)
grafical and adding new musics =)
but to change missions and npcs names its so hard...

i do this and it works:

1.- download and translate all quest files from chinese to english
2.- convert all files from windows default charset to ISO-8859-1 charset
(we can see than this is the default charset in original server files... with this command: #file -i locale_big5.lua for example.. takken care with default charsets and line brakes that last are different in windows and unix)

3.- upload all files

4.- build all with "make" command

cd /usr/rain/channel/etc etc/quest
sh make.sh

and then reboot the servers, and... we need translate all "*.lua" files too... takken care with all ' " and ()...

Naja da fehlt eig noch was weil man musst nach dem Quest schreiben/umschreiben
noch die make.sh datei oder wie man das nennt ausführen, sonst werden die änderungen nicht übernommen...

Verstehe das nicht genau....
Ich habe OpenOffice und nunja
wollte das ich die dann übersetze aber wo steht bei OpenOffice
der Codierung

Hab mich mit den gleichen char wieder eingeloggt aber alles chinesisch-.-

2. musst make ausführen
3. schaffst du eh nicht also downloade idr einfach modified serverfiles
4. es gibt kein Viertens
