für die Entscheidung, ob Bann oder nicht Bann sind sicher mehrere Faktoren ausschlaggebend.
Wie in einem anderen Thread, siehe hier:

beschrieben, werden wahrscheinlich Daten wie z.B. Speichernutzung, Klickrate etc ausgewertet. Möglicherweise an dieser Stelle bereits Login-Dauer, Aktivitätenschema auf der Seekarte etc.

Dann wird ein aufgrund dieser Paremeter aufgefallener Account ein Flag bekommen und einer weiteren Sichtung unterzogen. Da kommen dann Faktoren hinzu wie gebuggte Kanonen, Talente und Ausnutzung anderer Exploits. Nach dieser Sichtung wird gebannt.

Ein Automatisieren der Accountsperren hatte BigPoint schon vor Jahren bei DarkOrbit versucht und das ist voll in die Hose gegangen.

Das liefert eine vorläufige und möglicherweise unvollständige Erlärung zum wie und warum.

Bespiel:
Ein Account wurde wenig gebottet, hat aber vor 1-2 Jahren Kanonen geclont und Säbel, Pistolen, Panzer um dann astronomische Zahlen von Schrappen zu buggen. Wird wahrscheinlich gebannt.
Ein anderer Account bottet 10 Stunden am Tag und ist sonst unauffällig - kein Bann.

Program's / Scar bot's that use Custom Client are as bannable as Program's / Scar bot's that do not use Custom Client. Custom Client acts as a proxy and just changes the images inside the .swf files sent by the Seafight servers by a specific color. Just to make it easier for bot's to detect that color and click on it (shiney).

The detection method is in the movement the bot's make, like Nazar mentioned before, the high amount of clicks the bot's make, a bot changes position much and for example randomizes the NPC's it shoots all the time (Ultimate BM bot). These bot's are not 'human-like' and will be detected if Bigpoint really observed bot-users for months.

The things bot-makers will need to do is to make their bot's as human-like as possible, this will make it a lot harder for Bigpoint to detect.

So, whats your best solution about player who use custom client for botting ??

yes, not human-like behaviour like click-rate is detectable. In the same time I assume, that its possible to however measure ram usage of browser over login period at seachart.
The total amount is different between using and not using custom client. This may, combined with other indicators, that you & other people mentioned, result in ban.

The most interesting state is the typical "non-human" behaviour in any way: action at seachart, total login time, clickrate, none reacting on shots etc.

btw, anything new at "package links front" in terms of links 4 dsigns / pets so far ?

i used bot and bug and didnt get baned :/

I used everything and bot no ban

All the second account are banned by IP, not because they used some bots that's why ships are logged for months are not banned while the first account is banned for botting !

ich habe nur ca. 5-6 stunden täglich gebotet mit einen selbstgeschriebenen script und wurde gebannt. mindest 10 andere spieler die 24/7 mit weit verbreiteten scripten hier aus dem forum boten, wurden nicht gebannt. hat wohl auch was mit dem bankingverhalten zu tun. habe schon ewig keinen doppler mehr gebucht.

Ohne Custemclient oder mit ? ;D

Yesterday I was botting bm's for like 4 hours, with no custom client with scar bot and received a ban for 3 weeks :/
