Free FFXIV Fishing Bot, works with v2.3.5

I cant seem to download the file when i click i get a file i get time out page ... thanks for the good work keep it up !

Check if you dont have an firewall/antivirus or any "security" app that could block the download. I tested right before i did this message and the dl works ^^

Before you launch the game, could you try switching the game to english, letting the game patch itself, and then switch back to the french version and see if the issue persists?

I have a general idea of what the problem is, and a proper solution could take a while, however the above language switching may fix it temporarily.

Thanks manage to download the beta Version .. will try it out when i have chance !

I've tested the beta all day yesterday as I was home, didn't run into any bugs or failures.
It worked in all weathers I set it to, started and stopped when the different weather were active.
No problems at all so far.
(I never got to look at the level up ETA or exp/hour because I've been level 50 long ago)

I did few tests :
- Launched the game w/o windower => Same issue.
- Launched the game in english (nothing happened, no download... it just changed the language) => it works.
- Launched the game in french again => Issue is back.

In french, the action "Cast" is "Pêche". In my macro i used it with the auto-translate. When i was in english, instead to have "Cast" in auto-translate, i had "Fishing".

In case the bug was created by the 2 different "Cast", i launched the game in english again, i went into my macro to change "Fishing" by "Cast" (still using the auto-translate), then i came back in french but the issue is still here (I also tried to see if the bug was here w/o the macro and it is, but i least i have the "correct" name in my macro now even if it worked before)



EDIT : While i'm here i have a suggestion for the bot : Is it possible later to add an option like you did for the weather but for the IG time ? Could be great to help with legendary fishes ^^

It's been days using the beta version, I came across no problems whatsoever.
Tested in all weathers.

hey Stolas, are you waiting for the next patch to make the beta version official?
Not sure how these things usually go, but it works great.

(Although I haven't been using it this past week, getting hammered at uni)

Yep exactly. I was going to upload an updated beta version, but I decided to upload it as the new version next week when the 2.4 patch hits.

I found an other very little "bug" (not really a bug i know, just an encodage issue) with the name of fishes : [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Words with accents are replaced by a ?

(idk why but for the first time it didnt try to put a name of an earring like i said the other times but a name of a belt...)

Yeah the whole fish name thing is an ongoing issue. I haven't had as much time as I've wanted to fix this issue, but hopefully this week I'll get it resolved.

Take your time, there is no emergency ^^

If you catch a fish and turn out to be a Item is because i think it is same ID as an item this happen when you do those fishing beast-man quest .

I've updated the bot to work with FFXIV patch 2.4.

Also I've moved the weather system from the beta over to this new version, and redesigned the UI accordingly.
