Why not limit, or remove the Advertisement section? (Post your opinion)

Indeed, and since EPVP is the only reason some servers are populated, just by putting a silly back link, they might aswell make some money for using their advertisement section.

just to let you know, epvp isn't the only one website for advertisement. most of my players didn't even know about this forum.

Yeah, there's a handful of other forums (around 3-4 others) but elitepvpers is the most popular, as WickedNite said

Easiest way would be to have like a Advertising subscription card that costs e*gold, and not just for 1 month, it could be like the premium tag for a year.

Admins should make any reaction for Advertising section much ppl want play psro but we cant find a good one.If they delete or make something about advertising it will reborn, i believe..

SUGGESTION;
When someone posts a thread. he has to make a small brief"preview" for the thread. what makes it better and so.
if 50 users accepts it to be advertised so it will be advertised.
if not accepted in 1 week, thread deleted.
Note: Preview shall not has any links, IPs, Poster's name, server's name or even a Title,.. just the cap and featuring system "AS A TITLE".
ofcourse there should be a limit for the threads in advertising section for a user per year. like 3-5 threads.

There's no advertising anymore? Do you even check that section or you don't and just come here to talk like you don't have $10 for your server?

I still think an additional sticky thread, moderated by someone, showing the 5 best servers per week would be the best.
On the one hand, everyone is still free to post their advertisement in order to collect players and get good, and on the other hand it becomes way easier for players to be able to detect the real good servers, which is in the end the most important point in this whole discussion!

The only problem would be to determine the actual 5 best servers of the week, does anyone have an idea of how to solve that?

Plus: This would not even require the help/approval of an admin and could be done by us.

it is best part in site and you ask for remove ?,i think mod check topics without remove is good and remember elitepvpers ask to backlink to made new advertisement,so it get a great rank in alexa and google,so for me it is great exchange.
