Challenge in the gameplay.

98% of the servers in Advertising section are already dead. 1.5% are a piece of shit (10-15 players, 999999x, everything for free in npc and of course, the shitty PVP servers). 0.5% represent the ones that are worth playing on, with a decent community, not too high rates etc.

yeah, those 0,5% have greated a great gameplay experience, alot like the old isro days. But for all those "oldschool" servers, those are total bullshit and are NOT oldschool

I asked the Admins if I could close(or even delete) all the threads after the page 20 so that dead server are no longer bumped or viewed

I guess they have their reasons for not letting you delete that section. Still, if you'd delete that section, the section would be a lot more organised. (just my opinion)

By old school, they should reffer to the old school gameplay (wars, parties, guilds etc) and not the old school systems like dupe bug pr not having stalls or not having avatars, pets bla bla bla . Just my opinion...

Actually oldschool is simply old job system...which in my opinion is oldschool enough compared to the New Job System that basically changed most of what we knew as silkroad.

so why players don't like the new vsro files with the new job system ?
what is wrong with it ?

It's not Triangular Conflict anymore, and that was the thing that made SRO unique.

I don't know, probably that's not the only reason. For me, jobbing is the best part of SRO, much better than 1vs1 PvP and FW.
My top list:
1) Jobbing
2) BA
3) FW
4) 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3
5) 1 vs 1

Exactly..that's what people did before botting to make money. Its actually the very base of the game which made it attractive for placing you on a group of people that work together to get rewarded by achieving a successful trade or theft. Making more dynamic ways of letting the people earn currencies ingame is what's needed at the moment to achieve a successful dynamic..as it keeps player busy with having fun to earn the stuff they consider good or rare.

Dozens of comments have gone around about how bad a highrate (with 1m silks and stuff like that) server is for giving everything..and also how its driven to failure by such dynamic. A few others suggest to make it rough for players to spend time on earning their stuff.. and theres yet few who really experienced the systems enough to know what's required for them to be rewarding enough to be retaken by players.

Putting it simple: highrate servers made the players forget about how cool it can be to play together with others on multiple systems that reward them for what they achieve together..hence, taking out value from those systems as they became useless due to the rare items being already common and simply purchaseable for gold (which is thought of as achieavable by bot or silkreselling only by the sro community).

I love the first one and the second one. By first one I mean the oldest (that I can remember) one, when you could've been all three professions at once. By second one I mean the one that followed the first one, duh.

That's not really a common word around here, on EPvpers.
And yeah, I totally agree with you on this one.
