Exactly..that's what people did before botting to make money. Its actually the very base of the game which made it attractive for placing you on a group of people that work together to get rewarded by achieving a successful trade or theft. Making more dynamic ways of letting the people earn currencies ingame is what's needed at the moment to achieve a successful dynamic..as it keeps player busy with having fun to earn the stuff they consider good or rare.
Dozens of comments have gone around about how bad a highrate (with 1m silks and stuff like that) server is for giving everything..and also how its driven to failure by such dynamic. A few others suggest to make it rough for players to spend time on earning their stuff.. and theres yet few who really experienced the systems enough to know what's required for them to be rewarding enough to be retaken by players.
Putting it simple: highrate servers made the players forget about how cool it can be to play together with others on multiple systems that reward them for what they achieve together..hence, taking out value from those systems as they became useless due to the rare items being already common and simply purchaseable for gold (which is thought of as achieavable by bot or silkreselling only by the sro community).
