I've done some testing using loopback-adapter/L2Net/L2WBypass here in Indonesia.
Those three method works ONLY if we use International connection.

In Indonesia we have what we call IIX(Indonesia Internet eXchange), which basically an internet connection with connection limited only INSIDE Indonesia area.
Most ISP here are using IIX since it's cheaper..... and that's all we need to connect to most of our games' server(not to mention we can get a dedicated connection with less than half the price).

Now, I've tried setting up l2wbypass-id(the one for indonesian l2 server) on one of the computer in my LAN that actually have international connection(let say the ip is 192.168.0.90).
I've patched l2.ini to connect to that computer ip(ServerAddr=192.168.0.90).... click on "start listening" and login as usual...
which means that everything was in order....

But for somewhat reason it doesn't verify...
is there anything that I've missed here?

Can anyone help?

PS: I've used no-gameguard patch as well.
We change your hosts file to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx authl2.blablabla?

yup, basically the connection was already done properly... it's tunelling to that one particular computer. If I unclick the "start listening" I won't be able to login.

But I guess L2WBypass is not built for that? I guess it can only verify l2walker that is run from the same computer?

Does anyone has a solution for this.

I can't do tunnelling since our international connection is not as good as our IIX channel... so the game connection must stay within the IIX connection.

Works beautifully on retail.

For the ppl who keeps askin if it works on certain servers, why dont you try? it takes less than 5 minutes.

Also it doesnt really matters the type of server, if you can run run 2.13 in your server, then it works.

AND REMEMBER YOU SUCKERS WHO PLAY IN A PRIVATE SERVER THE HOSTS MUST HAVE YOUR SERVER ADRESS OR IP, IT WONT WORK IF YOUR L2.INI CONNECTS TO ONE IP AND THE HOSTS REDIRECTS OTHER!!!!!!!!
