Yes I have also noticed that the longer your in one spot the more failures you get, i also think a random option would be a great option.

you shouldnt be seeing any issues with the screen off. do you have some sort of power saving settings on? to test this i did a 600 fish test and it didnt skip a beat with 1.3.

problem here:
I was afk fishing for 6h (over night) the next morning i realized that i only got ~20 fish due to MoeFishbot stopped working and gave an error. Stupid as i am i just clicked the error away and so I cant tell you what it said (head->desk) but i try to reproduce it this night!

i've had this happen 1s to me aswell. atleat mine was due to the loot parse coming up negative but it has never happened again. unfortunately until i can see exactly what is going on between the log and MoeFish, I have not idea what exactly needs to be fixed :(

Well i just let it fish now and maybe i can send you the error msg or something like that

if you can send me the log.txt file next time and I have the horrifying suspicion that it could be the bot reading something else and thinking its loot, but failing the read due to whats in the line

The new issue at the moment is they have implemented a thing whre if you fish in the same spot, your fish will begin getting away and it will take longer for you to get a bite...

could you change the key to auto-select your character?

i use F1 for skills, and it doesnt use lures for me.

? i dont use the F1 key at all. the only keys i use are 1,2,3,4 and left/right mouse click. mind copying your log and telling me what its doing when its supose to do a lure?

i cant really explain it... but you cant apply it like that.

If i use any of the lures on my keybinds, my cursor turns into a hand waiting for me to click my pole.

If i press 1, it tries to fish...

the way i apply lures is by using the "Rod" calibration to find out where your fishing rod is (in your bags) from there it uses the lure (in your case action bar button 3) and casts it on the rod in your bags. it looks like you've assigned the rod location to the location on your bar. (i'm clarifying the calibration text now to avoid further confusion)

as for the error. if you still have the log.txt from rift I'd like to get a look at that, if not i'll see whats going on. (this is the elusive error that pretty much everyone has seen 1s but never shows up again)

just updated the version to 1.4

v1.4 changes:
now requires user authentication:
-someone has been handing out my code (which i dont appreciate): the bot now requires user authentication to function
changed layout to make space for upcoming features
lures left counter added (when you run out of lures, it reverts to normal fishing)
updated calibration instructions to prevent confusion over rod location
cleared up the log, formatting, uniformity.

launcher 1.4 changes:
launcher now properly updates, run the old one 1's and use _launcher from now on

upcoming features:
random casting in targeted box
log based lure detection
