[Guide] Starting your LOCAL rohan private server

Lol here comes a load more forums from indos and noobs thinking they can run a full pserver with this.

anyone tested the new update yet? need some seeders for the torrent file, download speed is soo slow...

Yup, looks like zzerachiel really saved the day! That authserver really works and it can go publicly too tho it lacks security measures but it's very good to play with your friends, test build and so on.
I personally got it working and already tested with zzerachiel if it goes publicly and it does.
Well, I gotta say.. it gets really boring coz this rohanauth progress was the leasest of them all. Shitload of work to do after, so the point is that u can't have a playable public server.

Once again, congrats to zzerachiel for figuring out the way of RohanAuth. Like I said.. he's a genius. :D

What client do you use because i get http error,and i need to start the 192 because i get that ctrl+v error?

I've got a problem when i start the authserver , i can load it in vmware but i cant load it outside vmware on my host. Any idea ? Also i think that vmware and my host os are somehow not-connected and that is the reason....

If you know how i can fix this ... please :)

Well, if for any reason when u press Start on Apache in the Xampp CP it won't run that means the port 80 is being used by some application (happend to me: Skype). If not, try changing the port like 8099 instead of 80 and when u connect with the shortcut add to ur ip 8099 (like ip:8099).
As for the VMware image, I have no idea. Im running it on my OS.

Well can you send me the files+client so i can run it to my OS aswell .... Cuze VM is causing problems obviosly... ?

Or you can upload them somewhere ?

I'll be posting one reasonable client with some small patch and a lil trick for the gameguard as soon as I figure out one major problem with it. (Can't create characters)

I can create characters but 5 second after enter the game, it's crash. and one more problem is AI server doesn't work

Try zRohan client. Should work tho it has some problems it should work fine for testing.
To make the AI server work u basically need to connect every single map to it. Can be done via regs or the AI server itself (yes connect them one by one). Be warned.. connecting them all sucks the shit out of ur pc.

I tried them both already.
zRohan : http_status_server_error at login screen.
Xor client : have gate server connect failed 3002 at char. selection screen.
I also edit client version in RohanUser.dbo.DownFlag but it's still not work.

This rohanclient for testing only..

if you wan make your rohanclient.exe work...just break your rohanclient.exe and re asembly that .till bypass GG.

i hope this can solve your Problem..

now i wait some one upload RohanAuth files (just files)
