Basically he show'd me the "shuta" and we traded. Logged off and logged back in and BAAM shuta was not there. Neither was he. Simple don't know what you can figure out by that.

Ouch. Its a server sided dupe. Best way to prevent it is have the person relog right before you trade. I have an idea about how tehy do it, it has something to do with lag in tullan, i watched 3 seperate toons botting in town, running a pattern around town. It was to perfect for a person to do it bc they hit the exact same spots everytime. This same person was trying to sell me shuta/blode/kark as well for relatively cheap. I hope this info sparks someones train of thought as to how we could do this..Quote:

Same happend with me :P ..i trade my flyin ring for 1 fake biglos :-s .. and dunno how he did it coz i put him relog.. and i actually tried to /w him to see if he did relog or no :-s and i guess that when he reloged back .. he traded fast with another toon.. another fake biglos.. and then traded with me... or smtg like that :-s

I wouldn't doubt that this was fake. There is a trade hack out there, but I also seen a program that can detect this kind of cheats. I have already spoken to ArchLord game-manager through phone and told him about this hack. I'm currently working with one of the programmers of ArchLord and we together are working on a safety-scan to provide this hack. I will not help him in any way to disable the 'cooldown' hack, although I know how to.

I definitely make everyone relog before I trade high priced items. Thats your best bet is to meet them in game, see item, make relog, and trade as soon as he comes back, don't give him time to trade another toon. So far I've gotten lucky it seems.
