Actually, I believe they will. With enough tweaking, and work I think I MIGHT be able to get them to work. But I'm not, I canceled my private server work. I'm now working on developing C++ Source Codes to the Server Files. So far, I've just got an empty program that runs. I'm waiting for my SQL/PHP Expert to get back online. He'll help me code the files to run off SQL and a socket system. He developed it for an older game. I'm doing this because I think it'd benefit others. Its a complex program that I'll be writing. I'm not trying to brag or anything, but I'm sure everyone here would love to get their hands on these babies. I don't know if I'll make the source code open source, or anything. I'm doing this duo with my friend. Plus, Acclaim or GameHi can't bitch at us either.
By developing our "own" server files, they lose the right to launch a lawsuit at us. The only thing they can nail us for is the modification of the Client, which I hope to develop my own sources for later on. I think it'd be neat to add a new twist of our own. PServer and Hacker style. By developing my own files, it'd increase security which i spoke to silkbotter about. he and I sort of threw ideas at each other and I think he gave me an idea for an encryption system that'll keep 99% of hackers out. There will be the few who are good enough to crack the encryption on the packets and get in. But still, I don't think we have that good of black hats here on the forums. Anyways, I think we should put off Action 6 files till they're officially released in Korea. Then we can probably unpack it, and then find out the real things for it. I'm sure when this happens, someone could hack the server files, and release. I'd get right on it, but my hacking skills extend all the way out to the abyss of knowledge of hacking. I have no knowledge thus no abyss. Anyways, I think we should work on making Pservers HARDER to setup. It would keep noob servers like dekaron-extreme down, people would actually have to work for it. Anyways, this is just my opinion. If you agree, whack that Thanks button. That way I know if I've got anyone else who'd like to give me a helping hand on the source codes.
