Well I could have used my own dlls or tools to hook winsock on a specific game. But why should I reinvent the wheel ?
WPE is a good tool to monitor packets, at least when we're talking about stuff that is handeled on this board. If there's a better tool, just tell me ;)

And to use private tools for public tutorials doesnt fit much... People would not be able to try the tutorial on their own so good.

idownloaded the WPE but ist doesnt work !

A windows security device blocks WPE from starting .

it says : windows cannot access the specified device path or file.You may not
have the appropriate permission to access the item.

what can i do ?

no other programm was ever blocked like this...

I can't sniff a few games. as some one else posted, I think it's sniff-protected for any vulnerable thing they could do by changing the game exes. not sure it's the problem though.
