u have to make an acc at DNS and then ur ip will be static and not dynamic....

I've edited the necessary files similar to how saruba did above (with my own IPs obviously) and I can't get my server up and running. When I go through my port forwarding, it doesn't ask for specific ports to forward, but a range of them. So, I put in the range 3306-9958. What am I doing wrong?

thats one big range it would make for easy hacking

I'm not concerned with that right now, but I am aware of the security issues. Lol. I just want to get the server up and hosted, then I'll work backwards in securing it.

drag it to your desktop,edit it there,save it and exit,then put it back to it's current folder...happy to help xD
