It does work for win 7 64 bit... Im running Win 7 Ultimate 64bit edition and i can run it fine... Make sure your running as administrator.

If your still having problems running on Win7 then ensure your running sro_client in compatibility mode for Win XP also do same for silkroad application and the edx loader. And finnally make sure all are running under administrator rights "Run this program as an administrator"
Dunno why so many bloody people don't mess around with settings. Instead they just QQ and spam the forums...
