Seeking Testers for Server

Ah, i didnt realize this was only a Hamachi server.. Well I wish you luck Rolf and when our server goes up it will not be Hamachi, but a true server and it holds 5 Gm's and three others who act as mini GM's (My team). So will be letting everyone know when we get up and running.

Thank you for your questions everybody!

I will be setting up a team of GMs as they are needed. I will manage everything to start out with, I see no purpose in cluttering the game with a billion GMs. I have strict ideas and rules about management and I'm looking for others who can abide by those rules in all scenarios.

Lish - My server will be as "real" as any other server. Having multiple GMs does not make your server "real" or "not real".

Wisp - I am responsible for all changes to NPCs and LUA scripts on my server. Please do not take credit for them.

RappelzVeteran - I am looking at adopting a system like the [DGL] system on Rappelz SEA servers. I'm not able to share any more details right now, sorry.

I am not spending the money on a dedicated server until I have the playerbase and incoming donations (if I chose to enable this) to do so. If you do, I'm happy for you! I am not trying to start a war here, but my server is just as viable as yours will ever be.

Considering that a server is simply a machine given a function over a network. Now we could get into the semantics of "Dedicated/Non-Dedicated" but if his/her PC is pushing the power to run a server then by all accounts it is a server. Please use your brain then your fingers.

Yours is a home server which means its not as good as a dedi one u rent out...fact is pretty bad as far as servers for mmos go....back on topic server is going nicely and bug finding/fixing is going smoothly.

So far the server is very stable and throughly tested =)


Sides kales pc is enough to handle lots of servers lol, and the fact is u dont need a server....pcs these days are powerfull enought to hold many connections and run many things at once with minimal perferomance issues.....its called a multi core!

why do people who are thinking of running a server bash on everyone like Rofl?
its kinda annoying like Lish u say ur server is going be better yet u have no forum posted about anything for ur server....... and then when it gets up and starts crashing ur just going to take it down. At least Rofl has some balls to post about his server. and u guys bash because ur jealous... period

Hmmmm that statement kinda backfires and says u dont deserve it either...and ur attitude to others with pservers working and currently working on fixing problems not just playing them seems to be terrible..and yes u may have not been directly saying urs was better but u was giving sutible hints that it was by putting down rofl.

Rofl is working around the clock all the time and working very hard also a great admin always on and always there to help us.
