Private server 'HERO' requests help

kinda funny how kids react like you , apperently i fixed lagg on shops,skills, and more even comeing , now ladydessa go to your crappy server and get urs up becouse your haveing some issues...

As far as our server goes, To be honest the things you are reporting most has been fixed by us already.. You see we actually have a good developer and are making progress since we got rid of you and Diabolical. Good ridance to you both and much luck in your 'server'.

*Just on a note, we hadnt gotten anything from here, So i just wish to say that we did this on our own as well... We will credit for anything we get from here.

the only few bugs we have are related to the empty strings, Which we are currently trying to fix. As we have found it has all to do with the SID of the items in database. Anyone know how to make it so that one item doesnt try having the same SID number?

LadyDessa, the empty strings bug has absolutely nothing to do with the SID. It has nothing to do with the database at all for that matter. The vast majority of the remaining bugs are not related to database issues at all. Not trying to be rude but you're not anywhere close to fixing that issue. And it's very easy to fix compared to the others you'll run into once it is taken care of. I'm not trying to discourage people from trying to fix things, all I'm saying is to keep quiet about it publicly until you actually have fixed it.

okay, I think that built up anger was taken out on totally the wrong person... But alright.. Thanks for the .. um.. Complaint/Suggestion. But the question still remains, If anyone knows how to make it so that we dont have multiple SID's in the database. And Uh, Never said we were close to fixing anything... But in opposite asked if anyone could help.. Same as all people.. Except I dont spam on boards... So yeah.. Dont deserve that treatment.

I'm not angry at all. I know you didn't say you were close to fixing it. But you did say that the problem is with the SIDs and it isn't. The Item database works fine as-is. If you have duplicate SIDs then you have broken something while 'fixing' this issue. And that is exactly why I'm quick to jump when I see someone post flat-out wrong information. Oh yeah, if you want help 1) Post in your own server thread and 2) don't try to charge money for T1 pets and JP.

It's fixable, you just have to change a bunch of offsets (and multipliers, stack sizes, etc) in the server code so it sends the correct structure layout to the client.

Is it works?
How can I play it? Where have I to put the launcher?

i aint saying i can fix it, but who not trys is who not gains.

Don't read too much into what I was saying, I was just pointing you in the right direction :) The more people learn about how the server works internally the easier it will be to fix other issues that come up. And more importantly, it will help once work on epic 7 content gets into full swing.
