see, now the only thing that i dont understand is, If there taking down Private servers, then that mean the people being paid for hosting will be out of job and the companys that are being paid the big bucks to host will all be out of money. and i cant see that happening, for example Hamachi is use to host servers and shit right? well then they should just close there doors to. And further more all this shit could just be hear say, like dont get me wrong yes some server might get closed but no all because its a big money grabber for hosting companys, ( again this is in my opinion, im just trying to understand ) So wouldnt you think instead of worrying about all this we try and make shit to pervent the closings? Or am i comletely wrong here lmao

If anyone has a dedi and wants to split server profits with me. I can setup another game for them to host (they must have a usable credit card and live within the U.S. no international people).

i don't want to sound 2 bad but they can lick my BIG balls sience in romania , rusia and most of asian country they can't do a thing maybe in the US and some west european country's they can sue me as long as they want if i want i can host a server in Pakistan all i need is to buy a dedi there and let's see what they can do :)) personaly there are 100 mmo games that have pservers and they all are still out there this is just to scare us that's it and as far as i know we romanians are most ppl that use warez cracked windows , programs i have a Strong DC ++ share of 1.5 TB of mixt content that should send me to jail for 100 years but i still am here and so i will host from my home computer and let them send me 2 milion mails :P that's all i have to say about this

I must say some of these comments are retarded. The DMCA's are real and there is NOTHING you can do to prevent being shut down.

It doesn't matter where you live or where your server is...this isn't an issue like ThePirateBay... You're not providing links (torrents) to stuff hosted by peers around the globe, you're using illegal software without the permission and consent of the owners.

Whether you're actively using the files or not, it's illegal for you to be holding onto them regardless of what you believe...and if they want their stuff back, you will comply or be forcefully shut down and/or sued.

So for those retarded enough to believe they are immune (cough evo), you're obviously foolish children who don't know anything about the law.

They will find you, and they will shut you down. Forums, websites, even MegaUpload/Rapidshare/etc can lead them to your server. It's amazing what you can find if you know how to search!

Good luck to those still running...I estimate 3 months before the entire top 100 is wiped.
