do i need it plz someone help i really want to make my own sever cause my friends and i only want to play it plz soemone help me

wow this guy takes forever well i could wait when u log on true tell me how to get a host and how to use phpmyadmin

Localhost is your machine. You can use localhost/phpmyadmin 127.0.0.1/phpmyadmin or (your ip)/phpmyadmin in internet explorer and it should open the phpmyadmin page.

@master15, What does the server console say when you create your character?

@[GM's], Start -> All Programs -> AppServ -> Control Server by Service -> MySql Start / Apache Start

@Coksnuss, I use the Qonquer Client, i Also use a router which i connect via my local ip of the router.

@royboy01, AppServ is a webserver on your own pc which has phpmyadmin on it you need to download and install that. I'd rather use this thread for helping people my msn is personal, Sorry for inconvenience.

@Noobert, It should be in the monster spawns area.

I did that but when i start one a cmd comes out and disappears in 1 second

its supposed to open then close

Try go to localhost/phpmyadmin in your webbrowser

When i try and access localhost/phpmyadmin I get this error (i have appserv installed btw)

"Cannot start session without errors, please check errors given in your PHP and/or webserver log file and configure your PHP installation properly."


Any idea's?

lol, i got the server to start up fine no problems then i made a account through the db that was simple enough 2 and i edited my qonquer online client's server.dat to my localhost ip then tried 2 login with my account and it wouldnt even try 2 login so this servers fcked and doesnt work but nice job on the coding from what i can tell it's alot better then coemu's... even tho u prolly use some of coemu's coding but there's was written rlly slopy this is written somewhat better... ^^

unless of coarse i'm doing something wrong but i dont believe so cuz other peepz r having problems with it 2... ^^

The server works i use it log in/out of it all time remember to forward ports and for firewalls etc blah blah

@yotop make sure when u installed appserv it was servername = localhost

The Qonquer client doesnt start :/...
However.. Have you ever tryed it with the V3n0M client? Because i cannot connect with this...(Without proxy ofc - just the client)

Still the same error... :'(
