GlideImage I have looked into the issue, it's because of the hash values in the performance parts catalog. If I revert back to the old one, everything works fine & dandy.
On the other hand, aftermarket parts can't have a context menu when hovered after a race, this is because of the Adobe Flash UI of the game.(it's not coded in)
Server randomly selects from the catalogs. If it's in the catalog, it will eventually be rewarded.Quote:
Ok so if I went in the perf_cat_xml and weed out the excess parts that have no use or purpose, this would prevent them from being rewarded? If so I will get experimenting
Ok I will get Jiggy Wit It, I mean busy with it! :DQuote:

It isn't a big deal to me just mentioning so if it is something you can fix, so be it!
I read many threads on the subject and almost everyone feels the same way and would paid a modest monthly fee instead of the whole boost crap.Quote:
I agree, the userbase was still active and I would have happily paid a monthly fee to remove speedboost and keep the game alive. I wouldn't ever buy an EA product if it wasn't for the NFS series.
I agree, it's no big deal, its quite funny actually.Quote:
I've won like 5 of those. I made a post about it awhile back. Pretty strange stuff. But you're right, it isn't a big deal at all.
I still cant believe that you are able to locate the correct basket files, that has to be very hard work on your part.Quote:
Glad I could get them fixed!
All your teachings and explanations went a long way, without it someone else would be fixing the baskets. You helped me to be able to fix them!! If I find anymore (so far haven't) I will get them fixed!
I will give it a go.Quote:

I wanted to add the Lambo Achievement Edition back in like I did with beta 1.7 by using the Blue version.
Maybe you can handle it?
You should be able to do everything but have the Achievement Edition show up in the dealer, it will remain Blue until bought, but you can have the icon reflect the "<Icon>ArtDirector_64x64</Icon>"
Copy the blue versions code line and only change the product title to Lambo Achievement Edition, make a basket file for it, add in the <Icon>ArtDirector_64x64</Icon> and here is the actual basket file info needed.
Just change the basket files number to one number higher than the Blue versions.

If done correctly, you will end up with two Blue versions in the dealer, but one will be Titled "Lambo Achievement Edition" and have the art director icon and buying it will revert it to the achievement edition.
You have to locate the Lambo's blue versions code line in the catalog folder though.
Good luck with that.
:D I did put it on for shits and giggles not sure if I went to never never land because my game crashed right after lol maybe that was the place lolQuote:
