Sorry of course, but we are now with the guys played 4 vs. 4 and can say with confidence that the 1.1 version was successful. In a lot of new bugs.

I have encountered the same problem, except I am not exactly sure which archive is corrupt. It gives the following error:
...\Heroes_Of_Newerth_LAN_by_Sordit_1.2.1.part1.ra r: CRC failed in Heroes Of Newerth LAN by Sordit 1.2.1\game\heroes\helldemon\clips\ability_1.clip. The file is corrupt
...\Heroes_Of_Newerth_LAN_by_Sordit_1.2.1.part1.ra r: Unexpected end of archive

The archive sizes are different from what is stated on the sites hosting them, though I am unsure if this is to blame.

Must be a corrupt download. And must be Part 1, like the Error says. If you use download-manager try to set it to 1 section download per part. This happens to me alot, caused by my slow internet-connection.

please explain what is hamachi and comodo, are those servers?

I see what you are saying yes. I think there may be multiple failed downloads involved. I'm not using a download manager. If someone could please post the size of the working archives I can check to be sure, as I think my downloads are ending prematurely.

Allright, what do you think about an agility hero who uses dark magic.
I am thinking something inspired on the Nazgul from lord of the rings.

Skills:

1) Morgul Blade: Fills this dagger with poison wich on a succesful strike damages and slows the target more and more over 3,5,7 sec. (can be set on autocast).

2) The Nine: Nine rings created for the dark lords, can be cast on self, enemies or friends. The ring wearer becomes invisible, can attack while invisible but he is also silenced and takes damage over time. Great for ambushing but also for finishing running enemies since they take damage when wearing the ring. Lasts 10 sec.

3) Black Breath: Near the dark lord, enemies are prey of their worst fears and nightmares diminishing their combat skills. Upon cast a chilling scream damages nearby enemies.

4) Dark Ritual: The Witch King Sordit performs an ancient dark ritual only known by the first necromancers. If the ritual is succesful he will transform into a powerfull demon.

If you like the theme of a Dark Agility Wizzard (mixed) then we are good with this. Also if you want a Pure Good Wizzard I also have great ideas but this one has a very nice sinergy. =) (Slows, Does damage, silences, can become invisible, morphs into a better fighter)

Sound VERY Cool to me. But don´t make it tooo powerful, so I can use him in the games. ;)

Sorbi... what about nthe linux port of the game... how can I play the lan edition? what to copy and what to not and upon which version? thank you!
