I know that Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 are new and better, but in this thread we are just talking about compatibility of NFSW offline and in particular 1.8 beta update2. So everybody are reporting if it works good or if there is some bugs. Me, I am very happy to say that with Antivirus disabled, 1.8 works very well also on XP, so I think that berkay/nilzao and all helpers must be happy that this great work goes very well also for XP users :mofo:

By the way, I would like to say that with the mod "all events" it's very cool to play also the events (blu and pink) that was hidden. I played them on 1.7 and now also on 1.8, but as you know, there are some tracks without the blu walls (to go in the right direction). So, if it's technically possible to add the walls blue one day, it would be great :D

Hypercycle, I know that ID event list. There's NFS Carbon and NFS MW tracks available too. Do they work? Could I use, say, University Way MW version without crashing? I heard that the AI in MW versions is better...

I may try to use my winxp laptop.
Currently playing on win 7 with some issues and it wont load on my win 10 for who knows why.

Do you have any issues on winxp?

Installed on winxp, had issues, did a restart,....
Game seems to work, did a race, got a card and reward.
So yah, it works on win xp, will edit if I run into issues.

Edit, I have had no issues what so ever like I did on win7.
I think the game even runs better on winxp at least mine it does.

Don't buy Windows(R) 10 at the moment. Microsoft(R) doesn't deserve it. Also it isn't completely finished, I think. I for example wait until 2016 to upgrade my awesome Winows(R) 7 to Windows(R) 10. :)

The big problem is the developing of Operating System and the Games itself. I don't like it, because, e.g. games from 1995-2000 aren't playable on modern computers. So this is why I hate these "fast developing".
Or they should do invent something that all games from 1990-2010 are completely supported, but that's a big dream. :(

Edit: Berkay, can you delete the 2nd thing "Powerups" from the launcher, cause it doesn't make sense. You can just buy powerups in the game itself. :)

Yea, they work flawlessly :) And yep, AI in hidden tracks is really better

I can't believe that you have problems with Windows 7... try again and read carefully the ReadMe step by step ;)

Win10 is the shit, got it for free on Win8.1, I have been using this baby for a couple of months and never had a problem with it. It's about the End-User not the manufacturer.

Delete it? Why? I mean, sure you can buy them, but why remove the ability of editing them?

The thing is though, many of the pink dot events are very fun to race
I found them just for something to do but yah, turns out they are addictive, ID203 is very fun

I bought another Asus that had win 8.1, got used to it real fast and everything that worked on 7 works on 8.1 and then I did the free upgrade to 10, still it works right.
I use it for my music stuff, I have a MPK MINI MKII MIDI Keyboard/Drumpad and guitar and FL, Magix, and Ableton on it, basically that is all I use it for.
Cant get the game to work on it though.

Issues with my win 7 but with my win xp, it works great.
Cant sell parts and if you leave the game during the collection of Gems, it resets them to zero.
That is the only issue I have on win xp.
On 7 I get the error 13 a lot.

But yah, win 10 is the shit, I like it.
I set up my music mixing stuff and it kicks like no tomorrow.
Hooked to 13 surround sound speakers that is.

works the same on win 7, virus protection on or off, no difference.
I got it on winxp, so that will work

The Server 1.8 update 2, works fine on my Windows 10 x64. Everything works without any problems or crashes.

The card packs won't work, because they don't have to. All what you will gain from the packs is already buyable in the store. :)

The insurance will maybe work in an update, I hope so.

Hello there Guys, first of all i can't believe i'm able to play again my all time favorite game! One thank you isn't enough, we all hope this project lead to something magnificent and maybe we will be happy to be all of us ON Line again!
Now, here is the issue one of my friends has to deal with, we tried to install the game, everything was smooth, when we finished the installation, and we got the notification from the notepad that everything was successfully installed, we double clicked the icon. A message come up, saying the Server Tool stopped working, after that nothing happened. My friend using a HP Notebook with Windows 8.1 Pro 64Bit and as security software he using the Microsoft Essentials! Can you help us understand what happen? Thanks in advance!

Did anybody tried to set class limitation back to each track? , cause always winning sucks a bit ;)
