Hey, the reason for this is because the updater hadn't updated the links at that time yet. The links should've been updated the same day, but you most likely tried before it had updated them :-)

New Addon Manager (aka Zygor Updater) version - v2.4.2
I released a new version for the Addon Manager. I just updated the previous post with the new version.

It should fix the issue you had.

The new version has better user feedback to let the user know if there's something with the download. And it doesn't try to download the addon if the links for the program hasn't been updated. So the thing you encountered shouldn't happen anymore :-)

Since updating to the newer Version of the Zygor classic guide some of the Northend guides are greyed out ("Guides not installed or trial version"). I tried to uninstall and reinstall, also manually. Didn't change anything..any ideas or a link to the older version maybe? :D

Sadly I have the same problem so I've skipped it and made it to 73 without the guides. A solution would be good for upcomming characters.

there was also an error about guides missing in chat. it no longer shows so i can't screenshot it.

The guides are available for me in the browse section, not the featured section. I'm seeing similar issues as the screenshot. Let me take a look at the code and see if there's an easy fix.

I also confirmed the guides actually exist in the zygor database and guide Lua. If it's missing for you, try re-extracting.

Apologies for the double post, however, I found the issue with the new guides. They changed the level brackets for parts of the guides, and the string names are dependent upon loading in the Featured view.

Let's take Dragonblight for example. The featured guides view wants to load the following guide:
It's looking for a guide specifically called "Leveling Guides\\Northrend (69-80)\\Dragonblight (71-74)". However, when we take a look at their recent changes, they did the following:

Alliance:
Horde:
I'm not sure why they made this change. I'm hoping it's for leveling efficiency. However, the guide exists. If I change the register line above to "(71-74)", then it shows up in the featured view again, and you can click to load. (View attached screenshot)

Well yea, it does sound like a broken record repeating it.
As all people want is the files.
So they claim to be blind because they never checked.
When it is right in their screen, they claim to be blind.
When they quote the links, they claim to be blind.
When they do not extract or install it right, they blame the file.

But when they get what they want, they are not seen again. Unless they have something ti complain about.

When others want the file, give others help no and part of the community.

So why you using the featured section? When the leveling section has it.

So looks like they have not fixed the feature part
