Well, i've spent money on it before it got crowded.
And yeah, you're right, everyone has the right to play, thats why the registration are PUBLIC!

I'm 16 years old for you to know and it's not selfish to think that reg shouldn't be opened. It was opened for 1 time, everybody had the RIGHT to register at that time, if I was the owner, i'd simply tell you "You've missed your shot."
