NFS World - Offline Server

I have a problem to import my persona to the server:
It says: "there are several root elements. line 96953, position 2"
line 96953 =<ObtainableSlots>

Can you use the game if you can't import the own persona. Because it isn't working. Is there anyone of the * players who can play it? :)

The problem is it doesn't do anything if I click on start nfsw.exe. I get a black screen... :(


@dirs2010: I get the same error, too, if I want to import my persona.

You manually did something to the server, maybe copied in a carslots or change catalog files. Something is faulty in the server files and that's why the game doesn't load.

Multiple roots, means you're using an old carslots and I have removed the support for those. I'll re-add the support in the next update.

Dude, Aternos isn't even something like Hamachi or Tunngle, it's a freaking Meinkraft server. Like, I could have maybe find some sense in your post with those but a Meinkraft server? Really? .... :) tifu

I have found the problem: A security warning window pops up, as soon as I click on the "start server" button. the thing is, this window pops up again and again and again and so on... you can't stop it.

Fuck you Microsoft, Fuck you Bill Gates, Fuck you Windows 7/8/10! :D
Maybe I should change to Linux or something...

Or it has something to do with the new 1.8 version. Maybe I just wait a little longer and see what happens.

Or some of the players here (I know there are some) who can play the game already. They can tell what they have done that it works... :)

How can I reinstall that Python 2.7 server thing?

I neither have music in free roam, in the safe house or in races. Another problem wich i found that i'm not able to remove parts from my inventory. They stay even if i install them. I'm not sure if anybody else mentioned it yet (if yes, sorry) just want to be sure you know about the issue.

Habe schon bei Systemsteuerung -> Sicherheit, etc. geschaut, aber leider kein Erfolg gebracht. Komisch, weil normalerweise kommt das Fenster und man hat Zeit zu wählen: Zulassen oder Abbrechen, aber hier startet ja NFS-W, bevor man was auswählen kann... :confused:

Do you guys actually and literally want NFSW's "melodic" musics? If so, I'll remove the "No Intro" patch and they will start working again.

It would be great to have the option of whether we can turn the music on or off. I think the music has become an integral part of the game for some.

Also, I did notice that the game skipped over the intro screens. I thought this was a bug and was going post about it but it didn't affect gameplay whatsoever so I kept quiet.

IMO I think that the music and intro screens are good to keep as people will find them nostalgic, although realistically not having the intro screens isn't a big deal.

I do not understand why one would be concerned about intro screens, really should be some "berkay intro screen" just saying, I mean after all, you are the one with continued effort to give us use to the game! Just an opinion.

I would much rather see your efforts at the more useful things!

I agree with the Berkay intro screen. I just thought that some people would find the current intro screens somewhat nostalgic at some point in time.

Sound Bug Fix:

C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Need for Speed World\Settings


Delete the settings.xml ;)
