The program will now only check and access data related to installed WoW versions. This means that it will no longer use extra bandwidth trying to validate, or check addon data for other WoW versions. How to use -autoupdate argument:

The -autoupdate argument will allow you to launch the program, and it'll immediately go through the check for update -> install updates sequence, and then close when done.
To use it, you can create a shortcut of the exe, then right click -> Properties. In the Target field, after the last double quotes you have to type -autoupdate. Make sure there's a space between the argument and the last double quotes.

Here's a picture of how it should look after the last double quotes

IMPORTANT:
I suggest doing a completely clean install of the program. (Delete the old version, and extract the new version after).

NOTE: The detections in the VirusTotal link is false positives obviously. The reason it detects it as a virus is most likely due to the File.Create/Delete operations I do to delete old version of an addon, and create version file in the addon folder after extraction. Another thing it could be is that the program is not signed, so that could trigger it too.
The MediafireAPI I made is detected too, and that might be due to it scraping the html of the download page to fetch download link.

Maybe you could also just add autoupdate=value to the config setting 1 will auto do it and keeping it autoupdate=0 by default and completely ignore autoupdate if a path has not been set.

Alright, I'll fix, and change that later when I get some time again :-)
I probably forgot to remove the initial check setup. I made some changes to that part, so I think it's checking in 2 spots now, resulting in it not going back to the main menu after setup :-)

Only reason I made the autoupdate as an argument is because someone requested it so they could run it in task scheduler. So I'll probably keep the argument, and then add a autoupdate setting to the config file.

Hi,

Small request, could you make it such that it first downloads the update and only then deletes the existing one?

Why? Because if theres an error downloading, I am not left with no addon.

Wonder full, checked the auto update seems to be working great, thanks and yeah I totally forgot about the delete first before downloading, I had this in my mind as well because with errors you would stand without the addon :)

Seems people want to use Windows defender and nothing else. When it has a issue with .rar files.
I could put the Chrome installer in a .rar and it would say there is a trojan.

But no worries, if people want to use Windows defender and nothing else and do not trust the file. No harm with that at all. Just do not use the file and get the addon from Curse or their site and then pay for the guides.

No worries at all, just do what you think is best for you :)
