Here the impression of one who farmed a nice +3/+4 endset (Prot+Acc) and tested Full Str-Bower with Fire/Cold (Bow+6, Crit 8), Full Str-Glaive with Fire/Cold (Glaive +4, Crit 8) and Full Int Spear (Spear+5, Crit 12) one time with Fire/Light and one time with Cold/Light:
Since the Update that reduced the Stun-Chance of Glaiviers and gave Bowers KB its remarkably balanced between these two builds.
A Glaivier may get pissed by the KB but can't get killed by it and since the bower got only 1 kb-skill with a cd that is to fill with 2 other skills he can easily approach. When the glaivier gets the bower stunned he's likely to kill him with 3 hits, if 1 hit is a critical one.
The Bower however is able to survive by using the KB-Combo and a freeze-skill wisely and correctly timed. The longer he survives, the bigger his chance for the crit-row (he needs 3-4 strong hits, so 2-3 crits within) but with a decent crit-value on the bow this is likely to happen quickly.
Bladers are, if played correctly, just the indestructable tanks they are supposed to be, ofc the other side of the medal is that they won't kill anyone with same quality gear, except for full ints with a lucky crit-row after snow shield ends. So the true Blader-Style is just cancer-gaming but this however works perfectly fine.
The true Full-Int-Damage naturally only works with Heuksal/Fire/Light but obviously this build is exclusivly useful against other nukers and even then missing the snow shield is a big disadvantage. In PvE however the killrate this build can realise is outstanding.
The Full Int-Build with Heuksal/Light/Cold might be pretty strong after getting a strong set that provides some more HP and Int for magical balance. The Damage is quite nice but as full Int with no shield you will always have to fear the next crit.
Since Im not that experienced in using hybrid-builds and beside that I never really got challenged by any hybrid I can't give details about those builds, but I can tell that some of the hybrid-builds tried by several players seem pretty strong and commonly defeated even glaive-chars which I would consider to be the basic strong build.
My conclusion of all my PvP-Experience during the beta is, that probably the best set will dominate and thats how SRO always worked. I think this means its as fair and balanced as it can be.
Looking forward to meet all those PvP-testees on Saturday!
