[Release] Grepolis 2 bot

really nice work utjar started yesterday a new account in world tau, set my whishes and started the bot.
when i was woken up today the city increas up to 7xx points xD
really nice wor.
but is it possible to use the bot with different accounts?
im not sure but the reconnect doesnt work. i tryed to set a second bot but the the first logged out and doesnt reconnect xD.

but at all its a very nice bot

how to separate donated and non-donated?

If you get disconnected it can take some time before the bot knows this. Each time the "Next Update" timer reached 0 it will check if you're still connected to the server.

And if you want to use the bot on multiple accounts you can copy the bot directory. This is needed because all the bots that are running need their own configuration files.

Yes that is indeed not possible. Also version 1.9.7 is only for Grepolis 1, which is discussed in an other topic (See signature).
The bot in this topic, currently version 2.0.0, works only for Grepolis 2.

Ah ok, but then you should be able to keep your settings. Just copy your whole Config folder.
After that just start the bot and go the settings tab, if you press OK there your settings will be converted to the newest version.
When you are logged in go to one of the other tabs and save your town settings. This will convert your town settings to the latest version.

You can solve the browser problem by pressing F5. Unfortunately the bot uses IE as browser which causes some problems. This is however the best browser that works good with the .NET Framework. When I find something better I'll update it as soon as possible.

Hi Uthar, now the limit of the log file is 503 rows and 14 cities having it fills up quickly. can extend it in external file?

how does the browser keep the connection, is it by cookies ? If so, can't I be able to copy those cookies to another browser cookie directory and use another browser for the interface during a session ?

That is not possible at the moment but I could add that in the next version.

Yes that's correct, it uses cookies. Also I think it should be possible to do what you want if you convert it to something the other browser understands.
But I'm afraid it's very risky because you will be connected with two different user-agents, which will be noticed by their moderators.

Is your bot ready for the new world 22, Chi, that will announce on July the 18th? And can you run two or more worlds at one bot. Like Tau, Sigma and in the future Chi?

Yes, that's not a problem. Although your account will be terminated if you start sharing it with everyone.
