I feel really old looking at this forum and I find it weird that servers are still opening... Not that I'm coming back but are people still playing? I remember that the player counter can be faked so I didn't bother checking.

They are not original, they are custom. They are created by 3D artist "Hakan" aka Hypershade. They belong to Ridge Online but every server stole them after they went public.

People are still playing, they have been for ages. Even throughout 2017- early 2021 psro has been extremely popular and some of the largest and most competitive psro servers launched during this time period.

However with the launch of TRSRO blocking all big psro servers' ads, plus corruption becoming more prevalent than ever, the scene is in worse shape than ever before and starting to die off. Pretty much since June of 2021 the scene is not worth coming back to.

Did anyone order the steam deck yet or had it delivered? I'm curious if it's worth getting into the order queue.

I actually started playing on some servers again. Corona lock downs got me this bored. Tho I only went back because my cousin is playing too. Wouldn't be doing this alone.

I actually had a car accident in january and almost literally died, got out somehow.
Someone or something protected me.
Hope corona ends some time soon so we can start enjoying life again.
Haven't touched SRO for a long time.

Corona won't ever end, we'll just have to live with it like the flu, over time it'll be less harmful and frequent but it is what it is.

I don't know about the part of the world where you live, but over here in Romania we've had 0 covid restrictions for the past 2 months and life feels like is back to what it used to be.

I am from germany, most restrictions got lifted here too, corona seems over

The only annoying part is that old people and people with pre-conditions can die more easily because of it

I'm not dead yet... Hopefulyl I'll stay alive till this game dies for good.
