You need to use an ID that has a photo, otherwise it could belong to anybody.

What I mean by this is that the photo on my document is from when I was 10 years old. I need to obtain a new copy of my document, but I haven't had time to do so yet. Would you accept it anyway? If the ID itself isn't expired by more than a couple of months, I will consider it.
