[Discussion] Removing DC Flag

I'll start debugger it all!

is it normal that the entry point of cabalmain is in the outside?

what i did is this,

i unpacked cabalmain.exe with this programs:
unexestealth and RL!depacker1.4

then... 2 files come up in the cabal folder

dump.exe and unpacked.exe

i open CR and logged in my char

i open ollydbg and attached it to cabalmain

my cabal then freezes and when i press f9 nothing happens. anyone can help me with this one?

try to play on the option of olly it is there somewhere!!! your cabal freezes coz it is the paused state.. i cant direct you to where it is but i know it is somewhere on the option of olly tried to checked or unchecked! thats all i can give to you right now. hope i could be a help!

To anyone who successfully find the DC flag, what method you succeed, live debugging or the long way?

im having a hard time looking for the oep, any tips on finding it?? it seems that the OEP that i thought it was, wasn't at all because it just wont run, any tips pls?

all i can say is no more unpacking for me, gonna live debug, its a simpler way than actually unpacking first cabal main which is a pain, hope that if i got some questions, the pros might be able to help me out, thanks ^_^

as far as im concerned u dont need it, but seriously pros would be the one to answer this, im using the live debugging method as of now, unsuccessful yet, and yeah, i think they abandoned this already because the TS isn't continuing this anymore and Mr.Noob got it already ^_^

1 more thing, anybody knows how to disconnect from rider using SH? man it doesnt get disconnected at all>.<

try to put 9999 on CE then apply . wait for 5 secs then uncheck it. after a couple of min , CR will be DC

i got to live debug ph but my problem is where to find the error flags R= textstrings W= is refered in cabal rider menu C = i dont know pls help

im replacing wrong values, im putting on places that must not have the breakpoints, this gives me a headache jeez

okay now this is not so good, i havent even done what is supposed to be done, thn suddenly it was patched! oh man..
