Hamachi = Shit ! But easy.
No-Ip = Less shitty medium.
DynDNS = Correct, but a little bit hard.

The most time, when you have this error, you putted the wrong instance of your mssql name.
Ex : PC-NAME\SQLEXPRESS
But idk how you installed mssql...
In the install, if you putted as default for the instance name, its PC-NAME\SQLEXPRESS
if you choosed a named instance, its maybe nothing ex : PC-NAME or \the word you choosed.
I can't be more expressive.

I dont think is from that SQL name cause server works perfect with local ip(127.0.0.1),can i try put ip from hamachi/no-ip nothing other stuff to do ? just put ip and that's all ?
