Free FFXIV Fishing Bot, works with v2.3.5

01/26/2016 06:41 Rokdog#466
Been using the bot without issue for a few days now. As an aspiring programmer who's just tackling the basics of pattern scanning this is really impressive. The features, the interface, your integration of feedback and supporting the project for 2+ years, all for free...just wow.

I've only had one issue so far: I can't get the collectability to work for me. The log shows that fish below the desired collectability are being rejected, but the cursor isn't jumping from 'Yes' to 'No', it just seems to be issuing the 'interact/confirm' command and not attempting to arrow over to 'No' at all. And yes, my NUM6 is set to System>Move Cursor/Target Cursor Right. I even tried it with and without numlock; still selecting 'Yes' regardless of what the log says or Collectability is.

Otherwise, every other feature, from regular operation to time of day to weather to mooching all function as expected.

Client: English, DX9
Bot version: 2.0.2.0
Issue: Collectability is ignored in the log, but is still confirming 'Yes' in the dialogue

Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide to help troubleshoot this issue or if there is anything else you would like me to try.

Otherwise, great work, thanks for sticking it out! I would definitely pay for a premium version to support all the work you've put into this so far, to include a gatherer bot if you ever release one *hint hint* :)

Thanks!

Can you make it so that it supports multiple processes?

I will be uploading a new release very soon. Here are the patch notes:

31/01/16 - Release v2.1.0.0
- Added DX11/64bit support. The bot will auto detect whether you are running the DX9 or the DX11 client.
- Added a small window button which turns the bot into a small bar.
- Rewrote the entire GUI code from scratch.
- Various bug fixes.

This may be a focus issue. The bot uses the multiple(*) key on the numpad in order to bring the window into focus. So make sure that the * key is set to "Display Subcommands" under "System". This is the default keybinding.

The bot has now been uploaded!

A lot of changes went into this release, so I'm sure I broke a thing or two, so please report any issues that you might have while running the bot!

Try the latest bot with DX11 support and see if that fixes the issue.

There should not be three processes.

Is there a debug-log.txt file?

Also, make sure that the ddls that are included in the zip are next to the .exe.

EDIT: Another thing, I strongly recommend have "Show window contents while dragging" enabled in Window's Visual Effects

Otherwise you may have issues moving the window.

Thanks for the tips on window dragging and here is what it looks like and cannot end the process as well.

What version of windows are you running?

And is it 32 or 64 bit?
01/31/2016 16:10 Wilds76#475
Hi Stolas

I am running 64bit windows

Yeah I haven't figured out how to solve the issue where "Show window contents while dragging" is disabled.

I'll debug the bot on my win7 machine, hopefully I'll be able to reproduce and fix the bug.

Thanks look forward to test the new functions !

Yep! This is exactly what the problem was. Just tested the new 2.1 build with the * key assigned correctly. Win 7 64-bit, DX9, English client, zero issues to report with 2.1.0.0 so far.

Love this thing, can't believe you've done so much for this project for so long for free. We're not worthy!
