The simplest way I can put it is this:
Everything comes to an end. Sometimes, despite our greatest efforts and our purest intentions—or perhaps because of those very efforts, those dreams, and that determination to keep moving forward—one chapter has to close so another may begin.
Those of you who were part of this community have seen glimpses of what was happening internally. You have seen fragments, but never the whole picture. I gave everything I had to this project. Boris did as well. We genuinely fought to keep it alive.
Boris dedicated his entire university semester break to rebuilding and strengthening the emulator's security from the ground up, investing countless hours to future-proof it even further. What ultimately unfolded through Sarah was something neither of us anticipated. It changed everything.
I am not here asking for sympathy. I am not asking for forgiveness. I simply owe everyone an explanation, however incomplete it may have to be.
I know that, to many, I may be the easiest person to blame. The perfect black sheep to pin everything on. That is not why I am writing this.
I am writing this because I feel morally obligated to leave you with something. Even if it is only a fraction of the truth. Even if I cannot tell the entire story.
To my knowledge, I will likely be the only person who will ever publicly speak about what happened.
Boris will not be coming back to make a statement. The shame he carries over how everything ended is simply too great. Sarah, on the other hand, has shown little interest in addressing any of this publicly. I have already provided examples of the conduct I witnessed. When claims surfaced on ElitePVPers that Expiration alleged I referred to our own customers as "retarded," I responded by showing a single fragment of what Sarah herself was saying internally. That fragment barely scratched the surface of what I dealt with on a near-daily basis.
I am not sharing this to settle scores. I am sharing it because people deserve to know that what happened behind closed doors was far more complicated than what was visible from the outside.
Information came to light internally that placed not only my own life, but the lives of people I love, at serious risk. That reality changed everything. Some battles are no longer about business, reputation, or pride—they become about protecting those closest to you.
As painful as this ending is, I remain incredibly proud of what we accomplished together. We built something remarkable through years of dedication and genuine passion.
I have been approached with opportunities to join other projects. To everyone who reached out, thank you for your confidence in me. However, I have made my decision.
I am walking away.
I have burned my fingers badly with this chapter of my life, and I have no desire to repeat it. My trust has been broken in ways I never imagined possible. I wish those projects nothing but success, but I will be distancing myself from this entire scene indefinitely.
To Acus—I'm sure you're celebrating this outcome internally, and that is your right. Enjoy your victory.
But let history remember where this conflict truly began. Your user, TripleCherries, orchestrated a scheme to scam our users. From there, accusations, claims, and misinformation spread until the situation spiraled beyond repair. That is how events unfolded from my perspective.
To Mirage—I saw your comment.
We never bribed anyone. We never paid anyone off. Whatever rumors may exist, that was never how we operated. We genuinely believed we had built a good product through our own work.
There is also one point I believe deserves clarification.
The incident in April that many people refer to as a "detection" was not, to the best of my knowledge, a traditional detection in the way it has been portrayed. The bans occurred because, through an internal mistake, a game binary from 2021 was being used. That allowed manual action to be taken against those affected. The narrative that our technology itself had suddenly been defeated is, from my understanding, not an accurate representation of what happened.
Suffice it to say, this ending has affected me deeply. Mentally, it has been one of the most difficult periods of my life. I believe many of you felt that during the last month. My heart simply wasn't in the same place anymore because, behind the scenes, everything was already falling apart.
To everyone who has ever been wronged—whether by myself or by anyone else within the NBT administration—I offer my sincerest apology.
I do not ask you to judge me by the accusations that may follow, nor by the narratives that will inevitably be written after today.
Judge me instead by the values I consistently shared with this community over the years. Judge me by the conversations we had, by the transparency I always tried to provide, and by the sincerity of my intentions. My heart was always in the right place. My intentions were always genuine, even when my decisions may not have been perfect.
Please also understand this:
Yes, this statement was written with the assistance of AI.
I make no attempt to hide that. I am under severe emotional distress, and I simply do not possess the clarity to express these thoughts as I wish I could on my own.
There are things I cannot disclose.
There are things I may never be able to disclose.
All I can leave you with is this:
We were not free. We were held hostage.
Thank you to every single person who believed in us, supported us, argued with us, laughed with us, and helped build what NBT became.
This is where this chapter ends.
I sincerely hope every single one of you finds success, happiness, and peacewherever life takes you next.
Thank you for everything.
