Looks good for a Game that tries to be realistic in Environments.

Though for Fantasy I rather prefer this

Yea but for example, depending on the weather, if it's night time then the monsters hit twice as hard and you gain more XP, during the snowing weather you deal more damage.

Ya it's a fine Battle System and most MMORPGs should use it, same goes for Mechanics like Tank Swapping, Heal Checks / DPS Checks, AoE Avoiding.

It's a little bit the same in BnS, but instead of the XP you get a higher chance/drop rate rare items/skins.
