Would People Please Quit sending me PM's.
I auto delete any PM about server setup without reading them.
The Tutorial Clearly States NO PM's.
All Questions should be asked in public so people with a brain can use the search function and find the solution to any problem they might be having.

i have a problem !! when i run instal_server.bat !! i press to continioes and then :
[SC] CreateService FAILED ! what is mean!! after this server dont working !! i connect as admin, create charachter and start game ! after this connection failed 0

i followed the video for the "name in use " problem....but nothing...bow he say: Checking Server ecc...ecc... ç____________________________________________ç

Just run the query i reposted in this thread on SQL, and restart the server

ok i have read through over 20pages of posts and cnt find any 1 with the same problem as me ... wen i try to use the SQL management and connect to database i get a massage saying " Cannot connect to Dezeslayer-PC " could any one help me plz .. im using Win7 and have followed the step exactly up till this point thnx

That means that your instance -called Dezeslayer-PC- has a problem with your login, check the password on it, if the problem persists just reinstall SQL

Hi guys,
I already solved many problems on my own pc and I got a shaiya server up and running many times, so I bought a VPS yesterday. MSSQL works fine, but I'm still having some trouble with my ps_game (only used Omegas files). I used the search function, but I couldn't find a solution yet. Hopefully you guys can help me:

ps_game:
I checked the security settings on the "C:\ShaiyaServer" folder already set every user to full access
in all other logs there are only some SAgent and game disconnections

thnx for the reply .. and now after tring every pass i use and re-installing i still get same thing .. i did how originaly have MSSQL 2008R and try using the 2005 SQL management studio .. witch fail so uninstalled it and got the 2005 MSSQL would that effected it some how .. i have tryed re-installing the management studio too ??? thnx in advance

You will get errors when you use the 2005 Management Studio for 2008 r2, try getting the 2008 version or just downgrade to SQL Server 2005

yea i downgraded and still getting problems here is a pic of the error im getting if it helps

Did you look at the tutorial it shows to install the default instance "Not a Named Instance"

Your PC is named dezeslayer-PC.

Did you enable your TCP protocols on SQL server when you configured it if you did not enable 127.0.0.1 on there then you cannot connect via management studio

thanx .. i tried the link and what it told me to do wouldn't work .. when i typed Cliconfig.exe into my search bar ( windows Start button ) it says no items match your search .. so i un-installed the SQL 2005 and re-installed it same thing ...

Omega thanx and yes i have followed the steps in the vids for Windows 7 exactly up to the point were it wont connect to my PC ... so i un-installed anything to do with the SQL and re-installed it all again following the steps in video 4 ( windows 7 users Tut ) and still the same thing so now im confused

OMFG i keep getting the stupid error when i try ti install DB saying it can't find osql.rll wtf. someone help me please this is driving me insane.
