my friend get's this error, please help how to fix it

got 1024x768 in game and in windows.. but it doesn't work :/

I had that error a while ago, I had to reinstall SRO and get new SRo bot and SM files.

Thanks for that tip, I have the sm file fixed now, but srobot ( the finger ) still won't launch the game. It just boots it up in the processes.

When I manually click on silkroad.exe the launchpad comes up and I can press start, but the game doesnt come up and the Launchpad just stares back at me ><

any ideas?

yeah, ur not the only one having this problem; almost every second post here is about this one problem, but we're still working to solve this problem...

This seems to be a incompatibility-problem with ur or his system ;)

hello, xxanimusxx and the rest of people who got it working... can i see your host file? or type whatever is on your hostfile, right now i dont have anything on my host file so im thinking it might be one of the reasons why im getting corrupt error. thank you.

hoffe jemand kann mir helfen.
nachdem ich die softmode dll und die sro clients ausgetauscht habe startet sro nur noch als prozzes nicht mehr als anwendung.
sprich ich bekomme sro_client im taskmanager als prozess angezeigt.
normalerweise klick ich sro an dann kommt6 der launcher mit start .
der geht dann weg und sro geht auf,
im moment also nachdem ich die softmodedateien eingefügt habe bleibt der launcher stehn und sro is in denn prozessen und nix geht mehr.
kp was ich machen soll wenn ich wieder die orginal client exe nehm gehts wieder komme ganz normal zum einlogbildschirm und sro is nich als prozess sonder als anwendung im taskmanger.
hoffe irgenteiner kann mir folgen ;) und mir helfen

unless your connecting to many private servers, then your host file should be EMPTY apart from 127.0.0.1. this is what a "stock" host file looks like :

on topic: dont bother with this clientless bot, as its probably a scam of some sort. Best bet for a clientless bot would be either ignavius or the bot258 clientless bot for chinese sro.
