i am having the same problem but have you got the softmod.dll from the softmod_c.zip file?

I had same problem but i downloaded SoftMod2(05.03.2007) and now it's working .

im also getting the corrupt client error using 91c or 92a, ive tried both

and the latest fix doesnt include a DLL

inspection again.....softmod need to patch again??

Most likely the SoftMod-Servers are under inspection or w/e
