NFS World - Offline Server

What do I do if the server keeps trying to launch but never does anything. Never displays an error either

all it does is say Server Starting...

Try restarting your computer.

How can i fix the wrong class? I see C with 247 overall

I seem to have a problem with this. When I finish a pursuit, it displays a box with "Please Wait..." and nothing else happens.

Any suggestions?

Berkay had a mistake on 2 lines by mistake in 1 of the pursuit xml files...
He posted how to fix it on one of the threads in the last 2 weeks
Search it, it's somewhere in the board.
(I haven't bookmarked it cause it'll get fix sooner or later.)

add-on: Can't believe Python doesn't have do-while loops. That's sooo stupid.
(I'm coding myself a script that compares the location of vertices in 2 waveform obj files)

Thanks for this, glad to see that there still is some form of Vinyl Manager that works. I used to use some of the older ones in the past to share older vinyl schemes that I (or friends of mine) made in the past, I may use this to make them usable with this that you linked.

EDIT: That being said though, we should see if we can get a new, simpler version made that was designed in mind for the offline server by someone who knows about how to make such things. That way, no crashes from vinyl presets or stuff just being.. bad.

In the Server Folder.
Goto /www/nfsw/Engine.svc/event and open the 2 xml files.
Not the "events" folder, the "event" one.
Open each of the two files in notepad (arbitration and bust)....(right click, open with notepad)
Find and replace <PersonaId>22418201</PersonaId with <PersonaId>RELAYPERSONA</PersonaId> and save the files.

Also if you change <Heat>1</Heat> to <Heat>5</Heat>(in both arbitration and bust, of course) Your heat will go to whatever level you selected after ending a pursuit, whether you got busted or evaded

Pursuits
In the Server Folder.
Goto /www/nfsw/Engine.svc/event and open the 2 xml files.

Find and replace
<PersonaId>22418201</PersonaId with
<PersonaId>RELAYPERSONA</PersonaId> and save the files.

Pursuits will work then.

thanks, i finally completed the step 4 but even now when i hit start server its always in loading :(

I keep on getting 'cant find the file specified'
can someone help?

i did everything but after i start the server i press "Start NFS: World" i get an error that says "The servers are correctly down. Thanks for your patience."
Please help
