now lets look at the error.... and think a bit. 1 (couldn't find producer) smp_set_guild_dungeon_id

1 seems it is looking for a stored procedure (SMP) and not finding it.....

maybe if i looked in the programability area of the database i would find a list of smp's.

and maybe if i had a couple of different databases i could look and see if one might have it?

Hi all e*pvp
I have a problem =[ In my pserver (just for fun) ALL commands, like warp or add_state or spawn mob work fine.. all but one INSERT_ITEM -___- and I don't know why... i have already check permission in dbo.allowedcommandforpermission and dbo.character

You have to try it ingame with "/run" in front of the insert_item statement. This will work 100%.

Hi all,

When I attempt to run the CaptainHerlockServer I receive a GAME DB INIT ERROR : Invalid authorization specification message box. I did a search for invalid authorization and a combination thereof and can't seem to find any help on forums. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

yes i tried in captainherlolck with #insert_item and in game with /run insert_item
and dosent' work... seem impossible :rtfm:

okay after editing the gameserver file and changing the usernames to sa and no pw I now get the following error when running herlock: "[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied"

Is there an sa account with password on your mssql server? Did you choose Mixed Mode Authentication during MSSQL 2012 Installation?

At first you tried to connect with a Windows User which uses the Windows Authentication! The Auth Server can't handle this and throws the Authentication Error. Now (in my opinion) you tried to login with a non existing user. You have to create a new user with the SQL-Server Authentication Method or modifiy an existing one. After that you have to put the login-information in your gameserver.opt. If you aren't able to do this...Reinstall the whole MSSQL 2012 Server and follow ALL steps provided in the serverguide!

yes there is and i removed the pw as per the guide etc.
I logged in as the SQL user 'sa' as per the guide

i then added the sa user to the gameserver.opt and get a different error now

sorted found my error. i had changed all the ip adds as per another person in the gameserver.opt file

man oh man this is annoying for me asi know NOTHING about sql server lol but i am trying to learn.

I know made the bat file for the launcher but when i try and run it i get a game guard error

1. To buff creature use "add_cstate" instead of "add_state" (same syntax like add_state)

2. We need some more information like your gameserver.opt
