It just depends how lazy TQ are really, CO works with unique ids, im not entirely sure if these are random id's as an item is created or wether its auto increment.

E.g someone makes a new item with unique id 43315, then the next newly created item is 43316, if this is the case all TQ would have to do is find the unique ID range of the dbs that where dropped then run a check on peoples inventorys to see if they contained any of the ids in the range, but this could take quite some time to achieve.

But if its the case that the unique ids are randomly generated then it would it make pretty impossible to tell who has legit dbs and who hasnt, so therefore couldnt really prove wether or not the dbs u have are legit ones or not so id put my bets on you being safe IF the unique ids are randomly generated.

And another thing that comes to mind, if TQ was to ban you for picking up these dbs I'd say you have some sort of arguement agasint them because you havent exploited or cheated the game in anyway, youve just picked up a dropped item. So as far as its concerned its working as intended and youve done absoulty nothing to the game to obtain dbs illegally.

tq sucks at programing as u can see in teh screenies :D they let u pick up free stuff and then ban you for it which as mwaha sais, its not illegal to pick up an item which is on the floor :P

they are only doing temporary bans

within 3 days any banned accounts should be restored and server back to normal

they bring the server down and ban the people with the items to make sure there isnt a mass disruption except for the people that picked them up. this makes sure that the items arnt traded onto noob accounts.

but knowing TQ that probably didnt work somehow.

hmmm well this is fixed now.. seems as if elitepvpers even isnt a really hack place anymore when something can be exploited and they know it will be fixed they dont even give hints anymore on what to do.

A randomly generated number wouldn't make sense because you'll end up having two items with the same number. Most likely they search the database for the highest number then just add +1 to it. Now as long as they really log everything they can easily track all the ID numbers for newly created items.

What would be more difficult if someone had taken a DB scroll or DB and exchanged them for CP or cash. Then you'd need to check through the logs to see what happen to said item ID. Then remove all cash and CP's gained.

Now if someone was really smart they'd taken the items and transfered then to multiple account, newly created account, exchanged for CP's and/or cash, transfered again, then deleted the previously created accounts. This would have given them a headache trying to track everything down and one might have been able to keep what was acquired.

But most likely, humans being humans, and greed being what it is, people stayed in TC, trying to gather as much as they could instead of taking what they had until TC shut the server down to fix things, so they lose what they might have been able to keep.

Now as far as "sort of arguement agasint" TQ for deleting an account you may want to re-read the "END USER AGREEMENT" again as it states basically they own the account and you are just using them and they can do what they want with the accounts as they see fit.

Also what I was thinking is if I did this why make such a ruckus in a server causing so many problems? Why not use it to your advantage unless you already have.

Here's what I'd do: Get my main all the items I wanted and needed. Then cause a massive mess in another server to distracted TQ from what I was doing in the server that contained my main. So all this mess he/she caused in Dragon might just been a cover to something he did in another server...... Think about it. :P

There were no newly created items. ONLY PMs can create items. GMs can`t. The dbs that were droped on dragon were stolen from the hacked chars.

And the GM Robes were hacked from loads and loads of GMs lol??. The person created the items obviously.......

i need know if thats rly just 3 days of ban... cuz i got my acc banned...

No, your going to be banned until they search your account for DB scrolls/dbs or gm robes.
