all you need to do is edit your shortcut's target from:
"C:\Program Files\(CONQUER FOLDER)\play.exe"
to
"C:\Program Files\(CONQUER FOLDER)\conquer.exe" blacknull
and then it bypasses easily.
btw the conquer folder is usually "Conquer 2.0" or "Conquer Online 2.0" depending on whether you're old or new.
and most features are removed immediately once the event is over.

yeah.... it won't let me run from conquer.exe (error) ..... so we will go with the program! :D
