Most of the ppl are saying that it works cause they were using older softmod before(with softmod sro_client) and if your friend were using the original sro_client it shoudn't work properly...
So it's all about modified sro_client...

Tip: Just instal Net Framework 2.0 and Windows Installer 3.0 and bot will work...
