Well, after doing more research, I'm beginning to learn that the methods I've so far used are... pretty pointless considering you could just memory dump my library while it's loaded. Though, it's all part of the learning process--and anyone who knows how to do what's stated above... should already know how to do everything I've done. Either way, looking at another shell-type security for later, so as to not... make the mistake a friend had. ;;

The SoG Helper is... extremely iffy. As Checkbox had stated in his previous posts and in other threads, the 'Elf Lag Fix' is a placebo. The same applies to the SoG Helper, IMHO. While it does help me better my timing--that's all it does! Though, in all honesty, it does makes animations... 'smooth,' if you really are a stickler for your animations. This can be brought forth further to state that: If you have less graphics lag, wouldn't this imply that my game would lag less in general? The next quote brings a good point to a smooth game by the way.
However! The placebo statement is just that: an opinion. Who knows, it might really be SoG for all we know. Of course, I'd be skeptical myself since this is just animation related.
A hint to you: Try animation unlock without the SoG Helper, and with. It's interesting. Best of course, from a Normal | Fast bow.

They take ddr2 ram and make Mabinogi run like a dream. Or you could turn some of your normal ddr3 ram into a ram drive with some software (Gets a nice fast speed of about 5000 MB sec).
Hacking the client to cut animations and the likes just makes Nexon add it to the server side checks and you'll lose out.

As you have pointed out, there are variations of lag. In consideration of network, there's only so much we can do. Pray to your ISP, configure everything to be best on your side, hope you're close... pray to Nexon.
As for the actual computer, read/write access would be great with a VRAM drive, though I'd probably sooner buy a SSD. XD
Either way, Mabi's problem hardly has anything to do with access times IMO, it's more of a rendering problem. I would just personally recommend that rather than buying RAM, you'd maybe want to focus on getting a cheaper graphics card. GTS 250 was $65 on TD last I checked? Well, there are too many variables here; a lot of my friends run a Dell with a P4 and live on Mabi.
Anyway, the point to 'modifying' the animations is to ease the pain that users experience while in game. Though, it is minimal, every bit helps. On another note, it gives people something new to play with. I added those modifications so people could have fun as well.
I apologize if it annoys you, but the option to turn them off is there. As for server-siding them... well... I'd sooner see Ghost Lock patched.
***Update:
I'm aware that a few people are having problems with the dbghelp library. It is not... patching Pleione sometimes (Had to restart my computer to see that). Congratulations: You have a fast computer (At least, I think that's the problem). I'll... fix it when I receive more information. If this problem has not plagued you, then great!
