????Quadruple Desktop???? (with guide)

a1blaster, man u are a pain, if u wanted to help, how about being polite? because trying to help getting the guy angry wont help at all, and flaming, there are 2 types, the direct flaming, when u use offensive language, and the indirect flaming, when u use words that usually offensive at all, but at a intellectual level, they can be used as an offense, i play offline games a lot, and i find quite ridiculous when i see for example, at gamefaqs forum, 2 "Kids" arguing over stupid things, for example, when u said that he should post that Microsoft made the software, nice, but when he didnt understood what u meant, u got angry and started to do some indirect flaming, u could just say "what i meant is that in your post, u didnt said that the software was made by Microsoft", it would be far easier to understand(because I didnt understand what in the hell u were talking about in your posts until the third or fourth), and no arguing would start.

Well said :D . I hate when ppl do that myself. There is an appropriate way to constructively criticize, w'out offending... ;) , hopefully now both parties will take something positive away from all this.

srry i havent replied yet. Even though i think you are right, its over already, so no one needs to post anything more about that. Pls only post if you have comments or questions about the original post.

Thank ya for posting about this. I haven't taken the time to explore the toys out there for windows (mostly 'cause MS gives me a rash) so seeing this was a nice find. Yeah, I use XP, but I've finally got a medicated cream to make it tolerable.

well, i think microsoft is given quite enough credit and like many other thing'sthis is just helpfully informing other ppl of kool thing's they've found on the net :P

well, i dont think you can run separate programs yet, but ill find a way how soon... Like you cant use this as a multiclient or anything, but you can use it for switching ur progs fast if theres something u dont want some1 to see... its exactly like the double desktop, just with more options.

Or you can be like me and by default have up to 36 desktops:)

heh, i like this. i got bored today so i just started messin around with this quadruple desktop thing. it would be cool if u could have seperate things on em so that running 2 lineage 2's would be easier for. only question i have is when i right click a jpeg and say set as desktop backround, i go to desktop 2 and back to my first one and its back to the ghey little grassy hill thing, i want my dragon wallpaper :(

oh cmon guys! u never saw what is the real desktop ! download a Linux ubuntu 7.04 dvd version .... then download beryl manager and turn desktop effects on (u can configure desktop effects as u want in that manager) good luck![Only registered and activated users can see links.
