Botting On P-Servers Necessary?

Well I kinda disagree that being the strogest is fun.
It's way more fun if someone is stronger than you, then you have a goal.
In the old days on ISRO, I played with my friends, handgrinded n shit. It's fun when you're bigger level than alot of people, but max level = no new skills, no goals, all you do is pvp and wanna-be fun stuff.
Ofcourse on current p-servers the fun has already been ruined, so I guess max level is best. But I would still rather play fair, enjoy fun events(which no p-servers have).. :D

Also I agree with everything windrius has written in this thread so far. but low rated server with alot of eu parties would be so awesome.

Its all a matter of opinion, no one has the right answer because in the end it all comes down to what the players set goals are and how they wish to play the game.

problem is that these p-servers become just like isro again...inflation, economy problems, server traffic, bot ksing everywhere!

back in the old days (60 cap) -> that was real fun!
no bots, everyone had to know how to play their chars well, do trade runs, boss hunts, prices were not so bullshit expensive.

i escaped isro to get away from all that bullshit and to re-live the old moment...but seems like botters are just corrupting the game again when it's not necessary :(

To play silkroad its necessary to farm sp, if you want to waste your time for farming like 2,5M sp, then please. But dont try to make other waste their time, too.

The true fun is lvling in party 8/8 with party mobs, trading and thiefing, events, pvp, gw, etc.

Too bad that there isn't a private server with these things. Isro aka "P2P Game" = 20€+ p/month so it sucks for ppl who don't waste money desnecessary.

i think it depends on what you like, but some handgrinding can never be wrong. since the game is about having fun:)

Wow, hate on the GM much... Of course he doesn't hand grind a lv100 char, HE HAS HIS GM JOB TO DO.... Or would you rather have a GM who is always busy because he is trying to grind his ass off as fast as he can to get 100 just to make a few of you happy..?
