I have been reading this and I can easily do this as it was written for someone who doesn't have the knowledge of programming to easily follow so good work, but I am interested in another aspect. I want to write the server files for Windows. I am in the process of decrypting the linux files to better understand them. I am curious as you HOW you got the server files because of I could decrypt the McGameland version of the server files instead, then I wouldn't have to worry about translation.
We been playing McGameland's crappy version for a long time now but they offer no support what so ever. I want to really get my hands dirty in this game so that I could create and write my own patches to upgrade it and offer REAL support like the players who play deserve. You can say working with McGameland has been frustrating and I am very sick of dealing with their BS now.
So basically in a nutshell what I am asking is how you got the server files. Did you have to get them from the server itself or did you reconstruction them from the game. I am going to do this project in linux but once I get a firm understanding of the server, I will eventually write a C++ version for winder of the server down the road. It won't happen over night but I promised a good friend I do this project for her because she loves the game and she is sickened by the cheaters in the game that ruin it for her and McGameland never does anything about them, claiming they have to witness things to ban people but they are on only 10 minutes a day if that, sometimes not on for days on end.

Are you looking for a GM? I am GM in Talisman Of Legend, but I am trying to figure out if I could simply use their client to play offline also but i can not seem to find the db_account LOL i'm a noob when it comes to things like this.Quote:

If you are using a router you can make for one player by using the router ip address for your computer instead of an internet IP address i.e. my pc is set up for the ip address of 192.168.1.33 so i use that and only I can connect to my serverQuote:
